Quote of the Day

Il y a toujours mille raisons pour s’enfermer. Sortir est beaucoup plus difficile.
Claudie Gallay, Ecrivain française

There are always a thousand reasons to stay locked in. Getting out it much more difficult.
Claudie Gallay, French Author

Now there’s a quote I could have come up with myself...

Wow I love this, it's something I could have written too...
however, sometimes getting out is so very, very much worth the difficulty!

Over here, they're calling her Gavalda without the sentimentality.Must check her out. xxx

Yes, it is much more difficult, but then nothing worth having was ever easy. Right? :)

BTW, I have kittens!

natalie: sometimes, yes, but not always in my experience.

mum: had never heard of her before. Gavalda is sentimental (amongst other things) but she sure makes you want to read her stuff.

Bob-kat: nothing worth having is ever easy. Hmmm... blue skies, strawberries, nice cologne... 3 things that popped in my mind spontaneously that don't require very much effort.

I will be over very soon for your little babies. I mean kittens. Congrats! :-)

Thanks for your visit :)

As for what is easy, it;s a matter of perspective perhaps? For blue skies we have to also endure the grey ones, strawberries have to be grown (and then patience is required while they ripen) or bought (in which case you have to work for money and then get them) and cologne also has to be worked for! ;-) But I take your point. Perhaps then that is why we don't value some things in our society because we can come by them too easily? :)

I believe that and all the ramifications it's brought about is one of our greatest tragedies.
