cool drawing. What inspired it?
The quote is so true. Is this what inspired the drawing?
I love the use of light and shadow.
very live, your drowing. reminds me some how of lulu in action
Lee: it's a fun little bronze (I think) figurine I have and which I like to draw and photograph using different medium. I was sure I'd already featured a photo of it here, but I guess not. That will be forthcoming.
bob-kat: I actually started out with the drawing and then looked for a quote to accompany it with the word "creature".
Now you know everything. :-)
littlewolfe: You'd really like this figurine I took as a model. It's a funny looking little things. I'd be happy to do a drawing of Lulu eventually too.
It's... a long-legged aardvark? An anorexic wellephant? It's scary!

Had to examine this one for quite a while in order to convince myself it's a drawing and not an object - you've got an impressivly effective 3D effect here!!
technodoll: not scary, cuuuuute! I don't know what it's supposed to represent exactly, and I'm not sure I remember where I got him either but it always makes me smile inside and that's what matters most, right?
Nava: goodness! that's quite the compliment. Especially since I wasn't overly concerned about doing a "good" or "realistic" drawing.
