Anagrams! Among my many meanderings from link to link to link I found the Internet Anagram Server aka "I, Rearrangement Servant". I've been playing with that thing for hours and very late into the night. And no, its not nearly as kinky as it sounds. But for some reason, rearranging letters and words is what does it for me these days. Of course I had to find out what "From Smiler, with Love" would produce. Out of some 5, 555 possibilities (many of them pure gibberish), I looked through 1000 of them and here are a few fun ones I found:
- Fleshier Worm Vomit (new and improved version!)
- Vermiform, Slow, Lithe (she sounds like a lovely girl)
- Smiler, More Filth, Vow! (ummm... not on this blog, sorry)
- [where] Hermit Lowlives Form (a least they keep to themselves!)
- Hi Leftover Slim Worm! (what I say to my breakfast before eating it)
- Former Love Wilts Him (poor dear)
- Love Lit, Reform Whims! (worth protesting for)
- Love Homer, Flirt, Swim (sounds like a lovely plan)
- Love Their Worm Films! (they're worth renting on DVD, man)
- Smiler, Vowel Of Mirth (yep, that's me!)
A few famous anagrams as quoted from the Internet Anagram Server site:
- Debit card = Bad Credit
- David Letterman = Nerd amid late TV
- Eleven plus two = Twelve plus one
- Statue of Liberty = Built to Stay Free
- From Hamlet by Shakespeare: "To be or not to be: that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune." = In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten.
*Have you figured it out yet? It's: "Life On Random".
Life On Ram Nod*?

Nice. I shall reward myself for the sensation of thoroughly kicking my math test's butt by... well procrastinating of course. Still waiting to hear from my Arabic instructor. I'm trying not to sweat it.
Congrats on the math test. And no don't sweat it. You'll only shorten your lifespan (easy for me to say!). This post was just a quickie before getting into the next one. But wow, did you get a load of that image?? Totally blew me away when I saw it. Just Google imaged "anagram" first page, boom. (shaking my head and a sigh) the things you find on the internet... just amazing.
Yeah I was surprised by it too. But then there seems t be quite a surge in paper sculpting of late. I love ones that are done in shadow boxes for some reason. They just speak to something in me... so protected yet so delicate. It's fascinating. I'll see if I can find some photos to post.
In the spirit of CyProWriMo... those photos will find their way up tomorrow. I think for now I'm going to bed.
Square1: No troubles at all. I look forward to seeing what you'll find. Rest well in the meantime.
I love this so much! Thanks for finding this. Now I have to see what my blog name produces. The ones you came up with for you are so hilarious and...wormy.
Tiv: I figured this would be right up your alley. And I can imagine Lee will have quite a bit of fun with it too. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
I did the anagram for Imagine what I'm leaving out and there aare at least 100 of them. I did Imagine, and the one I like the best is
Enigma I
The anagram thing is too funny ... I put my blog title in and got a lot of stuff in Latin, but I also got these priceless suggestions: A Disco Squids Intuitive, A Disco Stud Inquisitive,
A Disco Dust Inquisitive
I've been reading words in ways other than from left to right for years. I first got introduced to lexigraming by Linda Goodman in her book Star Signs. http://www.goodworksonearth.org/intro.html It's a fascinating chapter on words.
lolol
I'm glad I saw this one, the fleshier worm vomit... well uh, gee.
ever heard the song 'Word Play' by Jason Mraz? This isn't the first time it came to mind when visiting your blog.
Yours were much more interesting than mine. I think the best for Pamplemousse was Same Muse Plop. Ick.

Hi Smiler,
Thanks for the comment on my blog. No worries about using the anagram idea. It wasn't mine originally anyway! I took my friend Kelly's idea,
http://fortunatemimicry.blogspot.com/
and then added my twist of doing the Google search. I thanked her on her blog, but not mine. So I COULD be considered guilty of the same thing. But I don't think guilt is needed here. ;-)
I'm off to check out your T13 now.
